Checkerboard

I made my brother a checkerboard as my first crochet project. I finished it on Tuesday, about a week after I started because of finals last week. (School is out! ) I used the checkerboard pattern for my 206 Crochet Pattern-a-Day Calendar, then added a bag for the pieces. The bag is just a sc rectangle that I added to the tie.
