size 20 thread in color

Does any one know where you can buy size 20 thread in colors? And can you mix and match brands. I don't if that made since so what I mean is I am using Aunt Lydian's Fine Crochet Thread but if I can find the color thread in a different brand will they crochet will in the same project?

yes but the dmc will have a smoother texture....but they will look good together

I like Dmc Cebelia the best. But I also like the Opera thread you can get on line at Joann's. I have also used the Manuela brand and it is a nice thread. All these have a decent color selection.

I just bought a ton of threads in colors from Handy Hands. They group their threads by quality, sizes range from 10 to 80 (with some 100). Lots of colors to pick from--the most I've ever seen!

 

I can hardly wait for my order to arrive!

Mary Maxim's has good mail order prices on Cebelia, $3.49 per ball. The crochet thread is way down on the list of merchandise.

 

www.lacis.com has No. 20 threads as well.
