Drops pattern books can be found at most LYS with the english translation in them .. i k now mine carries them .. and if some one really wants one .. and cant find them .. let me know..

Elizabeth, is it more of a knit pattern book, or is there a pretty good mix of crochet? I have not mastered (or amateured ) knitting except one scarf so far.

well it depends on the issue this one looks pretty nicely mixed.. and most of them are but would hate to venture to say ALL of them were like that

There's a lot of nice things there. I just wish they would have modelled them on someone less thin. I think that's one of the nice things about crochetville, you get to see how things look on more average sized women, and that makes it easier to assess if it might look good on you too. I really like that we come in so many different sizes here, and aren't afraid to show it. It's not hard to make something look nice on someone as thin as that...

That is so true! I always wonder about the sizes, and they say it's a large size pattern, but who really knows!

Sorry to sound so 'duh', but what does LYS mean? There are some very pretty things on there I would love to make for my daughter and her friend, especially the halter tops. They cover everything because they are longer too!

Any idea where I might be able to find patterns for these?

i will also look thru the back issues and let you know how the mix of patterns are
