I just noticed also that you live in Fargo! I lived there about a year ago (we are really looking at moving back! ) Right now we live about 20 miles past detroit lakes, so about an hour or so east of Fargo. Awesome to find someone that is so close! Especially when we do decide to move our way back out to Fargo!

Thanks everyone for the nice comments. I keep wanting to show off the afghan whenever people come to my house. I can't bear to wrap it up and mail it yet (though if I want it to arrive on time I better get wrapping!)
