Potholder Set

I finished this little set for a Christmas gift for my GS's kitchen. I'm pretty sure he'll like it since he wore out the previous one I made him a couple of years ago. The hotpad is double sided in hdc, and the potholders are double sided as well in sc. I chain 35 to 40 for the beginning chain for the potholders for the sizes I prefer in Peaches-n-Cream crochet cotton.

Been awhile since I made that style potholder.  I mainly use my chicken potholders, but I do have 1-2 of that style in the drawer.

I know he'll like the set. That is one of the two potholders that are my go-to patterns.

They look great and if he wore out the other two, I am sure they will be well loved and used.

Thank you for replying. I made stripes on the back side of the hotpad but did not have rime to photo it. This is also my go-to potholder pattern. I love it and have made it since about 2013. I've also made it in hdc and dc but prefer the sc for the density for burn prevention.

Very nice, I make the square one a lot for my mother-in-law.  She loves them.

Thank you, Michele. Your avatar is such a pretty baby! Makes me want another grandbaby but that won't happen. Kids and grandkids are all grown and my oldest great-grand is already 15. Before you know it, I'll be making her those square potholders- LOL!
