Lava Afghan

This is a ufo I just finished. I started this afghan about 4 years ago for my now 10 year old son. I said well, here you go, you waited almost half your life for me to finish this! 😂

Someone else on the ville had made the same afghan back then, I can't remember who now, but I was totally inspired, I'm glad I picked it back up and finished it, and so is he!

Nice! I have just been looking at a pattern with a similar stitch design--3 stitches, then chain and a one row color change using three yarn cakes.

Wow pretty.  Well, he only had to wait 4 years.

My sister has an unfinished afghan that was started when she was a baby.  She is now 78 years old.  

I am sure he is going to love it.

He does love it, it was washed and he took it to bed that same night and said its super nice and cozy!
