Looking for a pattern by mary maxim of a single crochet santa afghan. I cannot find the pattern I've had for years.

I looked on the MM site, I didn't see any patterns with Santa on them but there are some for purchase as a kit - you will have to buy yarn for it anyway, so if you find 'your' pattern in a kit you might as well buy it, the 'extra expense' would just be the shipping.

yes it is .. the reason I want the pattern only is because I do not like the quality of the kits yarn.

I prefer to use my own choice of yarn, which I have tons of.

Maybe contact Mary Maxim and see if you can purchase just the pattern?
Their patterns run about $4 (on sale now for $2), it's worth an inquiry.
