Introduction and question

Hello, I have been crocheting since 1975. A friend had crocheted me some roses and every time someone would come over they would be picking around on my roses trying to figure out how they were made. So my friend Violet said to me one day “I will teach you how to make them so you can teach your other friends, and you can tell them to keep their hands off your roses.” So the crocheted roses were the first things I ever made. I have also taught quite a few people crochet basics including teenagers in a psychiatric facility where I once worked. I was really surprised how quickly those troubled teens caught on. A number of them we’re doing a better job at it than I ever did.
