I think you'll find you'll have a lot more project flexibility (and your yarn budget will go much farther) with this weight yarn.

Looks good!  And yes this is the side of the stitches that are usually the 'public side' of an item.

I'm not sure if it's just the way I make my stitches, but on the 'wrong' side, the stitch's "rear end" sticks out (the lower part of the stitch).  I'll see if I can find something to demonstrate...

The left pic is the back side, see the raised area between the 2 rounds?  That's what I meant by the stitch's "rear end sticking out".  The right side pic is what's normally the, well right side, or public side of the work.

@ReniC Thanks just a pity the ones done after this are not so neat. Tricky to get even stitches every time. SC and HDC are easier stitches
