A Lap Blanket

I just mailed off this lap blanket for my sister she was supose to get this last year for xmas Im pleased she will get it friday!

I used this moffit pattern:

and then I planed to put it together ending up in a hexagon pattern like the moffit but it became confused to me and so I think it turned out like a snowflake instead. I used a F hook and there were 30 moffits.

Cool! I love it! Definitely a snowflake--it would look stunning in white! Now that I've gotten over my fear of granny aquares, I'm going to have to make this in white. Patty

Everybody for your coments I think the white sparkely is great idea if anybody makes this is the hexagon shape blanket be sure to take notes on how they did cause I thought would be really simple just keep adding on each corner at one point thought I had the shape but lost it think I need to make more moffits and just wanted to finish it instead.
