Peaches & Creme patterns?!

Chatterpatter

Question

In my search for peaches n creme patterns, the back of the label only has a granny square dishcloth. So i go to Peaches & Creme's website, which automatically redirects to walmart's website with the ball of yarn for sell. I reckon because walmart maybe bought it or some business dealings of that sort. Anyhow, this leaves me without knowing where to find various patterns the normal peachesandcreme .com originally had. I saw a pin on pinterest where someone had linked to peachesandcreme .com for a nice floppy sunhat, but of course the website no longer exists.

HELP FROM THE MORE KNOWLEDGABLE IN ALL THIS PLEASE?!

Peaches and Creme (Pisgah) got bought by Spinrite, the same company that owns Lily, which makes Sugar and Cream.  I know I still see the Peaches around, not sure if they are selling old inventory, or what...

THAT company's website with patterns is http://www.yarnspirations.com/

I don't know if they picked up the Peaches' patterns, though...I'm thinking maybe not, since they only mention Sugar and Cream.

Here's a Sugar and Cream sun hat, is is similar?

Granny Square

Thanks. I just now went and did a search on the yarnspirations for peaches and creme (which is a diff feel than sugar ... more twiney). No results.

As for the hat, it was more of an example to elaborate what my dilemma was ... not finding peaches n creme product patterns.

Actually Walmart is the only store selling Peaches and Cream now.  As for patterns, you can use any pattern that you would use Sugar and cream or yarn for.  I make all kinds of stuff for it.  From potholders to dolls.

I asked Spinrite once if they would ever bring back some of the colors Peaches and Cream had and I was told no, as they had to stay competitive.  I would like to know WITH WHOM?  They own most of the cotton yarn out there and what made P&C so popular was the colors.

Sorry, did not mean to get off on tangent.

So as I said you can use any pattern for the cotton.  Was there a special one you were looking for?

I agree with Mary Jo.  Most patterns don't specify a brand of yarn, unless they are selling that yarn.  Even then, you don't have to use their yarn.  Look for any cotton pattern.  You can look at ravelry and search by cotton.  Also google free crochet patterns.  There are a few sites that have a ton of free patterns.

A while ago I started a thread about types of yarn.  Maybe it would help you.
