Crochet World Issue date ??

Hello Ladies,

 

Can someone tell me what issue this cover is (picture below)? I would like to do the horse pattern on the front for a dear little girl. I'm crossing my fingers.....thank you, Di

Did you know that the designer of the horse pattern is a member of this board? She has published more of her designs in Crochet World too. What a talented lady!!

Not only is the designer a member of Crochetville, but that particular pattern (pony/unicorn) has been published on the internet as a free pattern. Another C'villager posted the link and there was several posts regarding it. The designer had sold it to Crochet World so wasn't going to do anything about the publication.

I emailed the editor of Crochet World to let them know it was on the internet. Since the magazine holds the copyright it's up to them to take action or not. As far as I can tell the pattern is ok, except it lists wiggly eyes to use. Wiggly eyes indeed! I would never do that! Anyway it's still there--http://www.grandmashookery.com/teddybear/horse.html

The pictures of the ones on the site and the cover of the magazine are the ones I made. They're about 12 inches tall made with WW yarn.
