Great pattern!

 

Modifications - I started with foundation single crochet joined in the round instead of chaining and then doing single crochet.

 

Yarn Colors (Knit Picks Palette) - Masala, Orange, Sweet Potato, Semolina, and Custard

 

I am working on the longer version of the cowl in shades of green and purple right now.  Will post those pics when they are done.
