Cozy cowl and hat

Hello all!

 

I did this cowl and hat for a friend of a friend, she ordered it, and I love how it turned out, soooo cozy, and soft! I just mailed it to her last week, and she absolutely adored it, said it matched both her winter coats! Here's a pic, this was tedious to do sometimes, working with fancy fur, but I absolutely love the results!!!!!!!!

I have a whole bag of fancy type fur in different brands and didn't know what to do with the rest of it. Not too many care for it except kids and teens. Wonder how something like that would go over in NYC?

Ha, I don't know about NYC but people in omaha, sure like um!! Thanks for the good words ladies, it was fun to do! I made a purple and red one for a friend in Red Hats, she loves it too!

Thanks all, the fancy fur is a bear most times, but i put it with a strand of either matching or contrasting sports or baby yarn, and that keeps it in check must easier! I'ts of course impossible to frog, so make sure you get it right, lol and very forgiving if you miss or add a stitch here and there, as no one will ever ever see it. Fancy fur has it's good and bad points, but I love the look and feel of it, for cowls and hats!
