The Grapes of Math Hat

I had fun with this hat! Love the yarn (soft and self-striping in rich colors).

Will probably make a few more of these in different Mini Mochi colorways (there are so many to choose from!)

Only downside, it's a LOT of seaming together for one little hat.

The crocheting and construction of the hat is really fascinating. I didn't think the perfect squares I crocheted would morph into the trapezoidal shapes upon seaming together, but they did.

that is such a pretty color! What does Mini Mochi feel like?

I didn't realize that all the shapes start out as squares, very interesting. It's a really cute pattern and yours is beautiful:hook

Thanks!

The MiniMochi is VERY soft and it is fingering weight, so it's also VERY light.
