I laughed out loud - my kides just looked at me like I'd lost it (they didn't think it was funny).

 

I wasn't offended; I think you have to be able to laugh at yourself every once in a while.

I found the commercial funny and I too was VERY glad it was actually crochet and not knitting. I guess I look at it this way, you know it is getting popular when they start making fun of it so bring on the jokes

Awe it's just a commercial. Like someone else mentioned, atleast they used crochet instead of knit this time! LOL!

I've seen this a few times...and I laugh until she makes the bunny face/noise....that's just scary. :lurk

I haven't seen it. But it sounds funny. And I don't know about ya'll, but I strive to be a little old lady sitting on a couch crocheting crazy things for myself. It would meant that 1) I made it to old and 2) I have acclomplished enough in life to be able to just sit back and indulge in my favorite craft. Only about 30-40 years to go!
