new shawl

my mother in law has been stocking up on yarn since she started crocheting a year or two ago, but she's not using it so she offered a bunch of it to me. In the stash were 5 skeins of LB Chenille (man I wish they hadn't discontinued this yarn I love it) in Monarch, it's a gorgeous navy blue/purple toned color. I used 4 skeins to make myself a shawl, the last one I'll be using to make a new purse. I used a pattern I found on CPC a few years ago, thank goodness I printed it bc it seems to be gone now, it was the Snapdragon Shawl

That is a pretty color- and a pretty shawl! I still have some chenille in my stash- bought a bunch when it was on clearance 1.00/skein. Great idea on what to do with it!
