Here's my lastest WIP completed!!

The pattern is from an August 1993 issue of McCall's Crochet Patterns.

 

Supposed to fit 3-6 months...we'll see. And there is a "draw string" at the bottom. The "placket" trim is done in a satin-like ribbon. (I don't know if the picture shows that very well.)

does the chess-like pattern occur all by itself?

It's really cute, I think I have the same satin ribbon at home, it's called flash and it's from Bouton d'or (mine is peach colour... "peche" )

 

By the way, what does WIP stand for?
