My aunt asked me to make something for her co-workers for their holiday party. I made Rudy the Reindeer candy jars for her. (it's an old pattern from hooked on crochet magazine.) I made 6 of them for her and delivered them to her work on Friday in time for the party. She called me later to tell me that everyone loved them. She asked me how much she should pay me. I told her whatever she was comfortable with was fine with me. (Times have been tough for her and I didn't want to name a price that would make her uncomfortable.) She then told me that she would never be able to afford what they were worth because they were so wonderful! I think that was the best complement that I have ever recieved for one of my projects.

I found it in an old issue of Hooked on Crochet. I think someone is selling the same pattern on Ebay for $3.00.

It really did. She is like my second mother so it really made me feel good. I'm just glad that I could help her out for her party. Sometimes it feels nice to be raved about!
