Original "Nordic-ish" Scarf

I'm on a scarf kick and wanted to make one for my DH. I searched all the pattern sites, my pattern books, and asked friends and didn't find a pattern I liked. Instead, I came up with this:

 

 

I'm not all that excited about the edging, but again couldn't find anything that appealed to me.

It was Bernat 1lb Chunky, the colour is "Natural". I'm not sure where it came from, I've been moving it around with me for years. I'm going to be looking for it again though, it was really nice to work with.
