First Felted Mini Tote

Well, I just finished my first felting project. I was going to use this yarn for a guitar strap for my hubby but he did not really want it so I thought I would make a bag. I had 2 balls of Noro Keyron and little did I know it would not go very far at all! I found the pattern on Ravelry that only called for 3.5 oz so thought I would give it a try. I wish I would have had 4 balls but at 10 dollars a ball, who can afford that for a first try! After felting it is about 8x10, and I used a cheap little bag I bought at Dollar Tree to be the lining and handles. The purse is a little smaller than the felting, so it is not perfect, neither is my sewing! LOL I also used #3 black and #10 eucer to wrap the plastic handles and used the black to make an edging.

It is really cute, just really small!

Very pretty! That Noro doesn't go very far at all, especially after you cut out all the knots, but the colors sure grab ya.
