Oh my! I can't believe that dress was worn in public! It looks like it should be an afghan instead. Crocheted clothing can be absolutely stunning when done in the proper yarn/thread.

It's not the worst thing I've ever seen. If she were at an arts festival I could see where she was going with it, but at that type of an event she should probably be wearing something a little more elegant.. not kitschy couture (and I do love kitsch). When she put that dress on she knew it would catch attention, haters get the word out too (bad publicity is still publicity). I love granny squares and I think the whole thing is funny.. I both like and dislike the dress.
