We have a date for the U of M childrens hospital!!

 

Here is the email I received from her

 

The 25th works for everyone. It’s a Tuesday and they will have the TV show at 1:00. Can you plan to meet me in the hospital lobby at 12:30, we will load up the cart with your wonderful donations, you can valet your car and we’ll go down to present it during the TV show??

So, the 25th it is!!

New toy count..... 725...and counting. I have a gift card to use to purchase a few more.

 

The other hospital, Childrens in Minneapolis.. I am planning on running the toys to them on the 27th.

My contact was not in today, so I will call back later in the week.

 

I am so excited to drop off the toys this year!

I am up to a grand total of 653 so far!! More boxes seem to come daily too!

We have about 3 weeks left. I am contacting the hospitals this next week to see if I can set up a date to come deliver. I have a feeling they are going to be surprise. There are SO many nice toys this year!

My girls love to open the boxes and go through them all!

The first batch of toys went out today.. It was great!

We brought over 500 toys to the University of Minnesota Childrens unit!

 

They had us come on the closed circuit television holding some of the toys donated.

My girls had a great time talking to the kids.

 

One of the villagers here, her children made get well cards for the kids, as did my youngest. They were shown on the air to the kids.

Everyone who watched the show today seen the hand made cards!!

I am planning on the second run to Childrens on Tuesday of next week. That will give a me a chance to get all the boxes in and counted!
