Crocheted Duct Tape?

After seeing this video I wondered what it would be like to crochet with duct tape. In it, the girl made her prom dress by knitting with duct tape. I can't imagine her dress was all that comfortable but it's a neat idea. I was thinking it would make a cool looking tote.

 

For those that haven't heard of it, Duck Tape brand has a contest for best duct tape formal wear. The winners each receive a scholarship.

Now see.. I dont crochet or knit with my duct tape... but I do create Bags with it... and sell them.

Hmmm... maybe I need to expand my craft!

I made a few duct tape purses before. They were cute, but you can't leave it in your car during the summer.
