what is it? (crochet hook with hook on each end)

i have a crochet hook that i'm dying to use. the problem is that i have no idea how!!! it looks like a normal crochet except that it has hooks on both ends. i dunno how i got it, just that i have it, lol. what is it? what is it called? how do i use it? is it some weird form of afghan hook?

It's called a cro-hook. I just bought one, but haven't used it yet. If you do a "google" and search "cro-hook patterns" some simple ones will come up.

oh, my!!! and i thought i was smart for figuring out how to use an afghan hook. lolol. wow . looks really complicated. the sites were awesome, thanks. have my work cut out for me now, lol.

Slightly more difficult that plain ol' crocheting, IMO. But I was trying to do it from a book - and I'm more one of the "someone please show me" type of learners.

I am just like you Me&P I like to see what I'm trying to learn but I figured out the double sided hook from a book it is not that hard to do. My only issue with the hook right now is that the project I'm was trying the ends aren't straight. they both go at an angle. Hope you figure it out

Ya'll should check out StitchGuide.com, they have videos of most of their stitches being done. The video loads really quick for me, all you need is Quicktime (which is free)
