Making a ripple dishcloth

Ok I'm curious has anybody made a dishcloth out of a ripple stitch and if so how much yarn did you have to use and how many chains did you have to chain?

I haven't made one yet, but I bought a dishcloth pattern book a few weeks ago that is all ripple dishcloths.

I just looked at the patterns, and nearly all of them call for a starting chain of around 50 to 60 chains. Finished sizes vary from around 10 x 12 to 11 x 13.

I did one...a pic and the pattern is over in the dishcloth CAL. I made it a couple of weeks ago.

 

Just used cotton like for all my dishcloths I've done.

I got this pattern book in the mail yesterday. Can't wait to do the patterns.

now that you mention it, the round ripple pattern would make a pretty dishcloth .....

The round ripple pattern make a GREAT dish cloth FYI, I have made SEVERAL...and love them
