question about postage needed per square

I have sent out a couple squares now and im pretty new at this the first one i sent DH put 4 stamps on to make sure it went out ok this last one i put 3 on i was just wondering if anyone knows exactly what it takes per 10 or 12 inch square i want to make sure im getting enough on them

Take them to the post office and have them weigh them and you willknow exactly what it takes.

I mail a lot of squares and I have purchased 5X7 brown clasp envelopes to mail them in. You do not need to use the padded kind, they cost more to mail. I usually send 8 inch squares or smaller. When I took them to the post office, it cost $1 to mail. So, I was able to purchase some $1 stamps! Now, I can stamp and mail them from home!

just mailed out 2 12" squares today to GA and it cost 1.57 so thats not bad

yea not too bad yea ill get some of the 1 dollar stamps but ill probably take one to the P O to get it weighed i never thought of doing that DUH hehehehehe thanx bunches for the great replies

If you have a kitchen scale, you can figure it out right from home. The USPS website has all the information you need to figure out postage for anywhere in the world, if you know how much it weighs.
