Make it Yourself books

I wanted to post a recent thrift store find. There were many craft books at a local Goodwill, so I bought all the volumes they had of the Make it Yourself books. They are from the early to mid 70s.

Each book has several knit, crochet and sewing patterns. Then they have other yarn/thread crafts like needlepoint, embroidery, canvas crafts, etc. One thing that looked really cool was a mat of sisal circles for on a table.

Anyway, there are adorable patterns and lots of bell bottoms.

I've found those too at a second hand store (I can't remember which ones I have, I think I'm missing a few). Then there was a Woman's Day hardback book I got with a lot of the same fashion patterns in it (and some other patterns).

These make it yourself had some good patterns in them with instructions on stitches and patterns. Crochet Today is somewhat similar with more instructions on some of the patterns and stitches.
