Book Sock/Cozie

I made this yesterday for my dd, but dd didn't like the colors (and she's not much into crocheted stuff)

 

So...I decided to either keep it for my journal book or gift it.

I love that, and the colors are great. Did you use a pattern, or make it up? I could use something like that for my Harry Potter books....I have them in hardback but always worry about taking them anywhere to read because they might get messed up....

Thank you all. I thought it would make a nice gift, maybe in a smaller size, with an inexpensive paperback, and/or a giftcard to a bookstore like Barnes & Noble or Amazon.

 

Tam, I made it up, but I worked up the directions today, so I'd have them for future reference. I want to make a couple more, but smaller. It would be perfect for your Harry Potter books...I have up to #4 in the series. I can either post the instructions here, or send it to you in an email...i typed it up in MSWord.
