Teaching Crochet!

Hey eveyone!

 

I'm so excited, Just last night I went over my friend and co-workers house to teach her how to crochet and she picked it up so quick! The hardest part was teaching her how to work into the beginning chain but once she got a couple rows down she was a pro. We used a size k hook so the stitches would be nice and big for her to see. We mainly focused on single crochet although I did show her how to do double crochet.

 

She's been bugging me for 2 years to make her a stocking and a scarf, well little does she know I already started making her the Holly Stocking from the Caron website but now she can make her own scarf!

 

I think today we're going to go out together and get her some hooks and yarn.

 

I'm so excited I can't wait to have someone to hang out with and crochet with!
