A Bag Obsession

I admit it : I have an obsessive compulsive need to crochet bags. I'm forever on the look out for new bag patterns. I've given away tons and I've hoarded many more.

 

 

 

The two drawstring bags are going to two of my dottie's teachers . The Chakra purse from Caron is my second one . I love its shaping and I absolutely love the textured back of the purse. i'm wondering whether to have it lined or not.

 

 

 

The blue bag and the drawstring bags are made from nylon thread. The pattern for the blue bag is from a Japanese pattern.

Where did you find the pattern? It looks textured.

 

I like to use nylon for bags, too. It holds up so well, and doesn't stretch like regular yarn.

Love the stitch on the bag for teachers. And the bags for little girls will make them very happy. Makes me want to start making bags again.

LOVE THEM. I'm like you, I just can't seem to stop making purses and there's hardly any of them that I actually keep or use! But I love making them.
