crochet abbreviations and terms

is there somewhere that tells us some of the more often used crocheted terms and or abbreviations?

 

I do not know what WIP means....or FROG, or FOs, TBMs??? :think I have a quarter, so I can go buy a clue!!

Wip = Work In Progress

Frog = to rip some thing out (rip it, rip it, rip it)

 

I don't know what TBM means either, and I don't know of a website that says all that!!!

Hmm never heard of TBM maybe its ' to be made or something.

I know UFO is 'unfinished object', so I'm assuming that FO is 'finished'.

Here's a couple sites that have acronyms. I know they've helped me a few times. I didn't see TBM on either of them, but I agree that it probably means to be made.

TBM means "to be made" but I prefer my husband's acronym, "temporary brain malfunction". I've had a few TBM's today.

:lolI have that all the time! glad to know that I can now say I suffer from TBM !:lolAlthough I do have suffer from TBS alot to "tired But syndrome" as soon as the but hits the chair the eyes fall shut. so I geuss altogether I suffer from TBMTBS!:lolwonder if I ask the dr if they have a cure how long would it take him to figure it out!
