What afghan pattern would be good to do for a 14 year old boy?

Recommended Posts

I have a 14 yo and a 17 yo and both of them like the starghans, the round ripples, the ripples, the hexagon ghan. In fact they are getting ghans for Christmas in Ohio State's colors (red black white and gray) for christmas.

They don't care for the shell stitches and some of the other fancier stitches as they say they are too "girly" :lol:lol:lol

You could also do a giant granny. Here is one I just completed in camo, black and coffee.

I've made vertical striped V-stitch afghans for boys, in colors either they liked, school colors, or colors I just thought looked manly. The nice thing is, since the V-stitch is double crochet, it goes fast, too. The following example was made in blue, sage, and white for a teenage boy for Project Linus. I can count the rows to make the stripes if anyone's interested. Patty
