I would like your opinions please

The very last project I would like to do is a blanket. I have 6 balls of Bernat softee and 6 balls of TLC heathers so should be enough for maybe a small blanket no? As many of you know I'm a beginner and not familar yet with other stitches yet. I found some pics of really pretty blankets that were sc and dc but no patterns were posted for them. I'm just searching for ideas right now. I'm taking a break from crocheting because my hands are a little strained. But of coarse, I'm looking for ideas for other things to make when not crocheting lol

I would just check yarn amounts in the pattern [blanket or whatever you want] I like and just stop when I find one I like that I also have enough yarn to work it.

You should have more then enough Yarn to make a small blanket .Go to either coatsandclark.com or bernat.com you will find free patterns for your yarn.

Crochet pattern Central has tons of free patterns. You're bound to find something you like. Good Luck!!

I agree with crochet pattern central. They have a ton of cute blanket patterns. It sounds like you should have plenty to make a small blanket.

Check out CPC, they have awesome patterns. I think you have enough to make a decent sized blanket. Good luck!

I found some really nice patterns that you can use any kind of yarn. I think I'm going to try making a round one. This is the last project since it takes the longest to make. After I'm done making other peoples stuff I can finally work on stuff that I had for myself that I put aside lol

What about using a larger hook and a simple sc chain 1 stitch, I have made a couple afgans this way and they come out very nice.
