Girl's Poncho

This is what happens when you do not check your gague! This poncho was supposed to be the Ponchette from Angel Hair's site. It does not, however, even come close to fitting me. In fact, it fits my 6 year old son who wears a boy's size 7!!!!! But it will make a nice present for my niece at least! Even though it doesn't fit, I still love it. And don't mind my bed...I didn't make it...lol!

It looks so soft and fuzzy! It's too bad that it won't fit you, but I'm sure she'll love it!

I love that colour. And it'll look wonderful on your niece. Ponchos are the best. I can't wait to crochet my first, and if it looks as warm and snuggly as yours I'll be happy. (That checking the gauge thing makes me hesitate every time - then I shrug, and go on without doing it. You should see some of the hats I've made!)
