Happy Birthday to me from my mommy!!!

My mom is so awesome! She totally feeds my crocheting habit

 

When my husband says "no more new yarn till you use up your stash" I can always count on my mom to mail me some from Florida with a note to my husband that says "well, SHE didn't buy it"

 

Well, my birthday was recently and I got the presents from my mom today. She bought for me a pair of stress relief gloves "for knitters, crocheters, and keyboard users" HEY , I do ALL those things and they are purple, and that's my favorite color.

 

Now, the BIG gift, is a GREAT BOOK. It's called Crocheting on the Edge: ribs, bobbles, ruffles, flora, fringes, points, and scallops by Nicky Epstein

 

This book is FANTASTIC I'm on I'm looking through going "ooo purse flap edging, blanket edging, scarf edging, purse, purse, blanket, blanket, scarf, purse, purse...." AHHHH it's soooo great!! I love it!!!!

Oooh! Lucky you! I didn't realize Nicky had done a crochet on the edge book yet. I knew she had 3-4 knitting ones. I only have 2 of her knitting ones so far. I don't knit much, but I'm armed with lots of edging ideas for if I do. *grins*
