CroJulee's 12" Winter Rose Square Tested

I guess I'm a little slow at getting my tested square up here! :lol Oh well, I'll have to blame it on my kittens. Every time I sit down to crochet these days, they want to "help!" You can imagine that I don't get much done with them around! Anyway, here's my finished square:

I used Caron SS and a G hook. The square ended up about 11 1/2 inches, but I think if blocked it would be 12 inches. I was planning to do it all in the blue color, but I suddenly ran out before I was finished. However, I think the white makes a nice edging and brings out some of the stitch pattern better! This was a fun pattern to test, and it certainly didn't get boring with all the different stitches used! This would make a great square for afghans, and I also thought it would make a nice pillow! Thanks, Julee, for letting me test this for you! :manyheart

Lovely work, what a "happy accident"... the white border gives such a crisp finish to the square.

Yup, I agree. Crisp describes the look perfectly!!
