Michaels Skirt pattern

Ghost

Question

I want to do this skirt pattern recently posted at Michael's.

http://www.michaels.com/art/online/projectsheet?pid=e03121

The problem is, in the materials, they only list one size hook. Under the directions, though, they say, "with larger hook, chain 111..."

Whaaa? :think What larger hook? Am I just missing something here? I guess I could go through lots of hooks and make gauge swatches, but I'd really rather not. :angry

It only lists one hook and even though it says with larger hook it never says to change back to the smaller one. So maybe they are just wanting you to use a larger one for the chain.

Yes, that's exactly what they mean... only use the larger hook for the chain. :D

I agree, but what inconcise instructions. They need to be a little clearer, don't you think? It makes sense because I have chained with a larger size hook before, but those patterns specified when you change back to the smaller hook.
