Mini Market Bag Pattern

Ok, Here's the pattern for my Mini Market bag.

Mini Market Bag

Finished size: 4" wide x 4" tall (not including handles)

Materials:

Approx. 1 ounce worsted weight yarn

Size "G" crochet hook

Tapestry Needle (for weaving in ends)

Stitch Marker

Gauge: 5 sc rnds=1"

4 sc= 1"

 

Instructions:

Note: This bag is worked in the round and without joining so you will need to mark the first st of each rnd.

Ch2,

Rnd1: 8 sc in 2nd chain from hook. (8sc) DO NOT JOIN

Rnd 2: 2 sc in each sc around. (16 sc)

Rnd 3: (sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (24 sc)

Rnd 4: (sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc) around. (32 sc)

Rnd 5-17: sc in each sc around. (32 sc)

Rnd 18:sc in next 6 sc, ch 35, skip next 4 sc, sc in next 12 sc, ch 35, skip next 4 sc, sc in next 6 sc, join with sl st to first sc. (24 sc, 70 ch, 8 skipped sc)

Edging: Sl st loosely in each sc and ch around. Fasten off and weave in ends.
