that's a pretty neat idea! I bookmarked it (even though I have a winder) heh I figure if I go visit someone back home or something, I can borrow their mixer to wind whatever yarn I buy while I'm there *g*

i have an 'industrial' sized kitchen-aide that seems to be begging to wind my yarn suddenly !
