This whole site is soooo addictive! LOL

I found a Leisure arts book, that I had to have on christmas crochet ornamets from thread!! Yikes, I'm tooo old to crochet with thread.... I'm afraid I'm not going to be able to see a thing! (I do have a dazor mag lamp I could haul out)... but oh my the thread is sooooo thin! I don't even crochet with sport weight LOL.

But since I got the book, I did find some size 3 thread and at least that seems easier on my eyes... (haven't tried it yet) came here to read about crochet thread...

Any who... they didn't have holiday colors, so, would Elmore-Pigsah (spelling?) carry size 3 or 5..... its kinda hard based on their numbers what would be crochet thread, and just thicker (i.e., easier to see than the commonly found #10)...

Any sources online? thanks.

The Elmore-pisgah, has size 5 thread. Here is a link to that size, but they do not have the ombre of red, green and white. They do have sold colors though.

The coats and clark collection, has several sizes.

I don't see the Christmas colors together as verigated.

Hope this helps.:hook

Handy Hands Tatting has some selection of size 5 and 8 threads. I've always been very pleased with their service. If you sign up for their announcement/mailing list you'll be informed when they have their discount promotions--one should be coming up shortly for the holidays. ~ Lori
