rs?

Question

I am still working on a doll for my son, and for the upper pants part it says:

"Rnd 1: from RS and working in back loops only...etc."

I am stumped on what RS means. You know, this doll was listed under the "easy" category, along with scarves and stuff, and IMO it is very difficult!! I'm an ultra newbie, and now that I started of course I have to finish, but yikes I've been having trouble. Also I bought a fake mohair yarn for the sweater because it was on sale, and because it's all hairy it has made working in back loops only kinda hard for me, but I'll do anything to save money! lol.

Once again I have rambled on when I had a very simple question, so.... could anyone help me with what RS means?

I agree that it is Right Side. I would also suggest that you use a bow of a different yarn to mark that right side. It can be hard to tell as you work along.

Yup, that's it. Don't you love when they don't spell out the abbreviations the first time they use them? This is where a pretty stitch marker can be used, or a piece of a different color yarn, a hair pin, anything to mark the side.
