I love Crochet Diva's dusty rose. I made a couple in thread though the pattern used yarn. I gave one for my spring blosson swap partner and the other one is for my shawl.

Martha has many patterns, some are for squares or doilies but you can just crochet the flower part for whatever you need.

So far I've only tried the Lionbrand roses myself, but I keep meaning to try the Coat's and Clark flowers at http://www.coatsandclark.com/fun_and_free/crochet_thread/lc1412.htm

 

I know you said you'd prefer yarn patterns but they're just so cute, and great for spring and summer.:rose
