How do you get access to "hidden" forums?

I noticed that when I click on some links in people's signatures, that it will take me to a board that I don't have access to. How do I get access? Thanks!

You have to be a member for 60 days and have at least 40 posts.

ditto to what mizduck said unless you are saying you click on links and it takes you to another board, like craftster orsomething, in that case you would have to be a memeber of whatever other board it took you to

You can read all about the boards that will open up when you've reached the 40 posts/60 days requirements in this post.

 

The forum counts days of membership from the actual time your registered on the forum. Your new access will open up once you complete the full 24 hours of your 60th day of membership.

 

This happens automatically, so don't worry if you don't see the folders when you expect to see them. You may have counted your 60 days wrong, or the time may be just a little off. And depending on where the software is in its hourly update cycle, you may have to wait just short of an hour for your activation to actually kick in.
