Tags??

On some of the donated squares for comfortghans or charity, I see the white string tags attached to the square.

I was wondering what info you put on the tag?

I just put my crochetville name along with my Name and where I am from. Some like to put some comforting words or a bible verse or something like that but I never know what to write..

I made up some tags recently and put "Made with Love by: Joyce (jmccrochet)". I didn't really know what to write either.

For me it depends, if it is a Charity square, for a big ghan, I will put "Made with Love, By JoAnn in Iowa" If it is for someone I know for the site here, I put my Ville name and my real name...

If it is a square for a cause that hits home so to say, I will write," In memory of"...like if its for heart disease, in memory of Charlotte, my mother,...

so,,am I clear as mud?!?!!? LOL

I put my name and C'ville name, usually.

 

On the most recent one I donated to, I also put a brief message of condolence ("With deepest sympathy" on one and "Lots of hugs for you" on the other two).

 

I've found that "I'm so sorry for your loss", or "With _____" (insert appropriate feeling) are usually just fine.
