Pincushion

Made from Aunt Lydia's size 10 crochet cotton, in the color "Ocean," using a Boye size 6 (1.80 mm) steel hook.

 

After working on my partner's "fun stuff" items for the Wild & Woolie Wool Swap, I realized I needed a pincushion... because I didn't own one. Heck, before the swap, I didn't even own straight pins, period! I already had some of this thread, and I just ADORE the color, so I figured I could make myself one.

 

And on the suggestion of the Hubby, I made it "smelly." I put 5 drops of lavendar essential oil in the stuffing. Makes it smell heavenly.

That's a great looking pincushion, and I love your hubby's idea of making it "smelly". Talk about multitasking.
