Capelet

I found some Diana yarn yesterday and I am making a capelet. I am so excited, I didn't know they still made Diana. Is there another yarn that is like it?

Patons made Diana... A lonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnng time ago.

 

I have some (it was in a box that Grandma had in her garage - she gave it to me recently) that hasn't spoken to me yet. I have 6 skeins in pastel varigated.

 

What pattern are you using?

 

(Diana is kind of like Jiffy yarn... about that weight... and fuzzy - the label calls it brushed chunky yarn)

Okay, so I was hoping that no one would respond to this and it would fade into oblivion.....but since it hasn't...ahem, I read the label wrong...it said Divine, not Diana.

I wasn't thrilled with the way the capelet turned out so I frogged it. The yarn felt nice to work with , but looked very shabby when it was made up. I might make a hat out of it instead.

My moment of glee was squashed, Diana was a nice chunky acrylic yarn that I used to knit cardigans out of. but hense it is no more.:blu
