OK, I am working on a valentines pattern and I have no idea what the top 2 curves of the heart are called...I'm writing out the pattern but don't know how to title this section...here's a pic of what I mean...anyone know?? Thanks!!

Hummm... Maybe the arches of a heart? (not sure if it's spelled right, but like the McDonald's arches) Good question, I never thought about it! You could call it curves I guess, but I don't know what their official name is. Good luck!

i would just word it like this "now to shape the top of the heart" then write out the instructions

actually I would have said semi-circles, but I think lobes is right! And by the way, one of my favorite teachers from WAY back when told the class that the only dumb questions are the ones left unasked......because they will NEVER be answered!
