Looking for website...

I know it's been listed on here before, but I can't find it!! I'm looking for a site that lets you plug in a certain brand & name of yarn and get all the info on it, weight, yds/oz per skein, SRP, etc...and then look for similar yarns to what you typed in....anyone have any tips for me??

WOW !! I love that link. I've been wanting something like this big time. Sometimes I don't have access to yarns that a pattern calls for and wondered what I could substitute. This is going to be a great help. Although I wasn't the one asking for help, !!!!!!!!!!!

Especially if you are like me and dont have a real lys, it helps to know what you are looking for IS out there somewhere

My mom has 2 expectant co-workers that she really likes so she wants me to make several items for each of their babies...and all of them call for different yarns, so I want to see if I can substitute similar yarns or what...thank you so much!!!!:2rock

www.elann.com is good also. I use both websites and I am starting my own database for yarns that I used or intend to buy.
