Stitches McYarn Pants website

It is hilarious!

Most of it are "vintage" pics of knit and crochet patterns that make you want to raise your eyebrow or howl and laugh like a hyena, it's that horribly funny.

Not a bash like the what not to's sites, just a flashback on what people considered creative and cool back then.

You be the judge.

You can also find the "Museum of Kitschy Stitches" on this site.

Worth going to just for a little (or a lot of) laughs.

What I liked best about/related to that site was how Jean Leinhauser made mention of it in her interview on, "Crochet Insider," saying:

"Her [stitchy McYarn Pants] great joy in life is collecting the funniest patterns she can find from the sixties and seventies and putting them up with comments saying how funny and dreadful they are. It’s a hoot! I’ve watched it for years and by golly the other day she had one of my Leisure Arts books up there ! They are sleeveless sweaters, three for women and two for men, the worst things you’ve ever seen! The reason they were sleeveless sweaters is because I didn’t know how to design a sleeve cap yet, so I just left them off. If you want to see what was big during that period go to that site because she has the most wonderful bad designs in the world. "
